This gem of a book breaks deep learning down to its smallest component parts and then builds up your understanding from there. It’s the equivalent of stripping your car down to nuts and bolts and then re-building it: at the end, you will know to a certainty how your car really works.
I really enjoy this kind of approach as it feels like ‘cheating’ to just use a library that hides all the scary stuff from you so you don’t have to understand it!
And the wonderful thing is that Andrew makes it all seem completely un-scary 🙂
